Dan Raza played a great set Sunday night. The place was packed for once and the atmosphere was very good and supportive.

This 12 Bar Club is one of the best music venues I've been to for atmosphere and sheer musical talent. The place itself is hard to describe, it appears basement like and a bit dingy at first but this quickly turns to cosy, intimate and unique.        The curious darkened stage-room with its raised stage and quirky split level (mezzanine) at head height allows the performer and audience to closely interact with each other and creates the perfect atmosphere for performing. This is probably why it was so famous many years ago as a jazz venue.        The venue is open to various types of music. We saw an acoustic set last night. The sound was crystal clear and the mix just right. You can tell they’ve put a lot of effort into achieving this, which makes it perfect for moody acoustic performance. We'll definitely be going again....just don't tell too many people about it hey :)

Best acoustic venue in London without a doubt - those who take themsleves overly seriously may be alarmed at the rough and ready nature of the room but sound is great, atmosphere is great, standard of act is usually high, all very extremely great

I saw a band not long ago there. Their violinist and well all four of them just gave me the best night ever! The venue is fantastic and some friend told me Jeff buckley playd there...is that true?? Anyhow, the band I saw ammongs many other fantastic acts is called scottmoods and I think they are playing there again in October. Well, great venue and great music. If you've never been..well, what the hell are you living in London for??

I saw a band called Aquilina at the 12bar Club , they were one of the best bands Ive seen on the London circuit. It's a cool but weird venue cause its really intmate but when your at the back of the audience you cant see the performers heads. Well worth a vist though. The band Aquilina were amazing: Beautiful Vocals and violin . At this venue the whole audience couldn't help but get absorbed in their music.

Great place to gig in, I played there with my band The Human Beings, and it felt really cool. Intimicy, good sound, cool vibe - what else can you ask for ?

without doubt this is THE greatest place in london to play if you are after intimacy, great sound, friendly bar staff,  interesting performers and a west end location. and none of that Butlin's style Toni Moore-esque Kashmir Klub stuff to put up with between acts. Keep it real.

I think this venue is great. It's very intimate and the audience are usually extreemly supportive and respectful of artist. Can't wait to play there again.

This is a nice venue although you might not think so when you first arrive. When I turned up for a gig I found myself in what looked like the basement. I asked someone where the venue was they laughed and said "This is it". It's a weird layout with the stage being between two levels but it has character. After some exploring I wondered what Health & Safety would think of it. However, the sound is good, the atmosphere is good and we could hear ourselves on stage quite well. A good experience.
