Reviews

Moses Band who appear to have posted this article have NEVER played at the Acoustic Affair, Geoff Martyn has played but some time ago. The Acoustic Affair uses many venues throughout Glasgow including the Tron, ABC, Arches, St Andrews in the Square, and the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall. As it is a regular event it brings its own audience as well as the lead acts. I hope this clears up any possible confusion from this misleading post.
The Acoustic Affair - Jan 06
There are 2 venues for Acoustic Affair Glasgow - we played the Tron theatre. You play in the foyer: a long room with the performance area in the middle so you have audience on 3 sides of you.        We played support to local lad made good Geoff Martyn (ex of pre fame Travis, currently causing a stir in US) so good sized audience - the room and positioning of the stage mean you can see all the audience so they tend to stay quiet. Stage area big enough for drums and bass stack etc but doesn't swap a solo act. As it is only an occasional venue there is no regular crowd so if you are support you are at the mercy of the main acts popularity.  We enjoyed it, good sound and nice room but as non locals no idea how we would have fared without a healdine who brought the punters in.
